LESSON PLAN
SONG: Colours
1. Teach the colours red, yellow, green and blue using the colour flashcards.
2. Show the black and white card of the Ball, Bird, Star Flashcards and teach the items.
3. Teach gestures for each item.
4. Show the other cards and teach the colours and items, e.g. "a red ball, a red bird, a red star".
5. Sing the song, pointing at the colour cards, and doing the gestures for the items.

ACTIVITY: Puppet
Do the hungry/thirsty activity of Lesson 1. Choose a food or drink that matches the four colours of the lesson (red, yellow, blue, green). For example, tomato, strawberry, banana, lemon, broccoli, peas, blueberries. When the puppet asks for the items: "Can I have some (broccoli)", students touch the correct colour card, and then pretend to feed the puppet.
